Once again.. Lovin your work.... I was wondering could you go over how you create your eyes (Like just the eye balls) also do you plan to polypaint this Frankenstein?

Also are you recording this via Zbrush???? or something else?

Hey Darrin thanks for the comment man. For eyes, you can use the polyshpere tools (I'd avoid the sphere 3d tool though because it has a pole in the front that can get a little crunchy).
If you choose a round alpha with a hard-ish edge like alpha06, and set your stroke to drag dot, you can position your polysphere on canvas facing you, and just drag the dot across the surface of the eye. If you experiment with size and intensity, you can get all kinds of eyes. Let me know if this does not make sense.
And yep, I'm using Zbrush for the movies. Again, thanks a ton man.

Hey I like the new blog layout...awesome..thought I'd let you know I've tried what you told me about how to create the eyes and I think it works pretty well. I also tried doing this too!!! using the drag command that expands as you drag out more (I can't recall what the name of the mode is) ...
basically that seems to work very well too..I may have to show you one day.
One "?" though.. How do I get my eyes to look in the same direction, Like I want the eyes to look left.
do I have to do that seperately? I was trying to do it for one but when it wouldn't do it for the other (you know what.. I think I just figured out how to do it as I'm typing)

Nope haven't figured out how to get the eyes to move in the same direction in zbrush...Do you know how I can accomplish this task

That is some intense stuff, the amount of detail is awesome. I have always wanted to try that program out, it looks so fun.
Danny, this is one of my favorite pieces I've seen from you lately. I love how the details are kept subtle and don't interfere with the larger forms. I guess I'm a bit biased though since I love the subject matter. Great work my friend. And I'm diggin' the new look of the blog. Sweet stuff.
